Halloween- well it wasn't that scary at all Mickey!

We set off again about 2.30pm and decided that before heading to the party we would pop along to Millers Ale House for a nibble or two.  As this was our first experience we were not sure what to expect although reviews on the good old Dibb have been good.  Well we went for a traditional burger for Sarah and myself, Martin had the 32 shrimp ( no we didn't count them) and Daniel went for the crab claws!  A rather messy choice.  No photos, I forgot to bring my camera indoors with me and left it in the bag in the boot....... Have to say it was a very enjoyable meal.

Then we off to thSDe Magic Kingdom again...... I do love it here.

All dressed for Halloween without the trains.

Do love the scarecrows at the entrance to the park before that walk up Main Street.

and then listening to the band playing.

We managed to do our fast passes before the evening entertainment when there were no fast passes available and basically you came and go where you pleased.  We had no longer than a 20 minute wait for any of them.

We wandered down through Adventure Land to ride Jungle Cruise as we were unable to do this last summer as it was having a bit of a revamp.

Past the Swiss Family Robinson tree house.

Past Aladdin and his Magic Carpets and the Spitting Camel

And onto the Jungle Cruise with the corny jokes and the sedate water ride

All very calm and we didn't even get wet. Can't say this for our trip on Splash Mountain later in the evening though.

And thinking back we didn't ride The Haunted Mansion in the dead of night.

Now this next one may be a very very blurry photo but I couldn't let this go past without commenting and I won't say this occurred because of a glitch in the transportation system but I was very proud of my effort on Buzz later in the evening.
A little trip on the people mover, always like this even though it is not the most exciting of the rides here at Disney but you do get to see some of the park from a safe height.

And of course a few firework pictures along the way.

Food and Wine Festival Epcot

Thought I would continue in another post as have rather a number of photos from Epcot and the fireworks.  Love the fireworks here and the world globe spinning out on the lake. However when we arrived the sun was still shining, all was well.

The weather was lovely and in fact it seemed to get hotter during the evening.  Bright blue skies out there, not bad for an October evening.

Didn't look too busy either when we came in and we managed to get straight on to our first ride listening to Dame Judi Dench inside the giant golf ball.  I do love this ride, so gentle a journey through time.
As we were also there at the time of the Food and Wine Festival there were lots of other stalls to visit in the World Show Case but we would get there eventually.

I
I love the fountains along the way and simply just have to stop to take some photographs.  Hoping that next time we visit I will know more about how to take photos properly after my photography course but for now these will do.  Our first visit was to Test Track and we rode that with our fast passes.  It was such a warm evening that water was needed .

We decided that we would come  back and do the rest of our fast passes and then we would concentrate on the Food and Wine Festival.

Mission Space was accomplished as was Soaring.  Still love the smell of the oranges as you fly above the Napa Valley.  There is talk of a new revamped soaring - perhaps famous places in Europe but only time will tell.

Now we stopped off in Australia to sample some lamb chops that were covered in garlic.....

I do love to see the different characters  in whatever form they take.

I love watching Illuminations and listening to the music that goes with it.  Lovely to see all the buildings lit up at night as well.   The evening was very still and warm and it was a pleasure to wander around.  Sarah and I might have just stopped off to have a little shop en route to the car and update our pins for the evening.  After drawing Olaf earlier I just had to have an Olaf pin and Sarah wanted one for the food and wine festival.
