My class were lovely this year, absolute fun. I hope I have moulded them into respectful young people with a love to learning, wanting to fulfil their ambitions in life. One card read "I hope we made you proud". Oh yes they did, very very proud of each and everyone of them. I will find out how they are all doing, I have ways and contacts to keep some tabs on them and their achievements. They were a very special class. I was blessed to have taught them. As a year group they made this lovely banner, each creating a square to illustrate their hopes and ambitions for the future. Stunning work.
They have had a fantastic year and we have achieved so much as a year group. We have had some great trips out to the "Connect to the Countryside show", RHS Wisley, the London Eye, Southwark Cathedral and on our residential to High Ashurst. They excelled in their performance of Oliver, learning their lines and delivering them with clarity and feeling. Oh yes very very proud of them all.
I was rewarded with some lovely gifts and cards, some of the words inside them made me cry, even this morning when I read them again. I was touched by the children and parents of years gone past who came to say goodbye as well. I know that I must have done a good job looking after their children.
And finally before I go about my daily tasks today I must just record the lovely cards the children in both year 6 classes made for me with the help of our lovely TAs Katherine and Fiona.
This is so lovely to read Joan, what a wonderful class they were! And what a great team we all made, I have fond memories of those times 😀
