A few shows, a parade and a bit of a toy story mania

A lazy start to the day with a dip in the pool before  we returned to Animal Kingdom to see the shows we wanted to see and the parade as we never got around to it last time.

So after our dip in the pool, showers and breakfast we left about mid day for our trip to the see the Animals!

Sarah also wanted to do "It's tough to be a bug" as well so that was our first stop.   The fact that it is air conditioned as well was a good thing as another very hot day.  I love looking at the tree of life at Animal Kingdom trying to spot all the different creatures.

We all enjoyed the show and sometimes the reactions from the people around you can be just as entertaining.  We missed the spiders dropping down from the ceiling as we were totally covered in the mist at the time, and slightly chilly it was too!

We then decided to do another first and go and see the "Finding Nemo" show. A musical version of the film and very entertaining as well as being air conditioned!  Do you see a trend here?

Really enjoyed this show and the way in which the characters interacted with the audience in some parts was very good.  Again no flash allowed so a little bit of camera shake but they are getting better.  A little respite from the heat as well and literally no waiting.  Glad to see that Nemo was rescued again.
After that there was a call for lunch from Daniel this time so we went off to have a snack of onion rings, very yummy they were too and a fruit platter, very refreshing.  Lots of seating to enjoy the meal as well.  All washed down with a frozen lemonade.

The last part of our afternoon was to be the parade, so we staked out our seats and waited.  We did manage to get some shady seats right on the parade route as well.  Nice crowd around us and lots of children getting excited about seeing the characters, me included although not so much a child!  I still like to see the characters.  Daniel was sitting on a bench with Martin had had his own scare when a snake slithered past him into the undergrowth.   Made him move fairly quickly I can tell you.

Waiting patiently

Good to see all the characters although this parade lacked the "pazzazz" of the Magic Kingdom parades but still good to see.  We decided that we would call it a day and go home for some chillaxing time and dinner cooked by Sarah.

We did return later in the evening to Hollywood Studios where of course we had to ride "Star Tours" and we have found the secret of Toy Story Mania.  You go later in the evening.....but don't tell everyone.  The wait time was showing 50 mins and we did it in 29 minutes..... then we went again and although the wait time showed 40 mins we did it in less than 15.  We might have just had a sneaky third go where I beat Martin's score yeay!!!   Daniel was the outright winner though with a high score in the 200,000 +.

Another lovely Disney filled Day.
