Water, water and more water.

Off we went to Aquatica with our newly acquired lanyards and our Discovery Cove tickets attached.  Love the fact you can visit one park and get all the rest included.  We thought another water park might be relaxing so we headed there about arriving about 10am.  It was quite busy at that time but our parking spot was not too far from the entrance.  Soon we were inside and ready for the off.  We quickly sorted out a locker, found some sun beds and straight into Roa's Rapids.  I think this had to be the favourite of the day really as you are just happily carried along with or without needing a life vest, depends if you want to work in the water or not!  |

Now having gone around the rapids two or three times Sarah and Daniel were ready for their next challenge and decided to go racing on the slides to see who could come down in the fastest time.  They do like a bit of competition, even on holiday, but at least they were smiling.

Slides and more slides were accomplished, even getting me on one where I was turned upside down it felt like, but it was good fun and I did manage that one.....phew.  Getting out of the tube was another experience in itself as well.  The temperature was not too bad at all today, got to about 93F at the hottest part of the day whilst we were there - overload of suncream I think but no burnt bits on our return!
We stayed until about 3.30 and then decided we had had enough and needed to come back and chill for a while as we had planned to have a meal in the villa and go out to Downtown Disney in the evening for an ice cream sundae at Ghiradellis.

And then the fun began!  Just as we were on our way out, Martin checked for his credit card and driving licence and could he find them......um no.  Well the whole house went into lock down.  No one was allowed to go anywhere.  Slight problem, you need your driving licence with you at all times and the credit card is linked with mine so if one was cancelled so would the other one....... Oops.  We hunted for a good 30 minutes or so, tempers were frayed to say the least.  A few cross words were exchanged.  It got to the stage where even the bin was emptied...yuck.... guess who got that job!  Hunt, hunt, hunt.  Eventually he found them..... no he hadn't put them down as he thought earlier when he had had a shower, he didn't put them on the table he was so insistent he had put them on, no they were lurking in his shorts pocket that he had already checked!!!!!! Several times!!!!!  So on that note we left home with credit card poised for use in Ghiradellis!!!!!!

Downtown Disney was packed even on a Monday evening..... we ended up in parking lot M, as far from the shops as you can get.  If we had been visiting Cirque du Soleil it would have been fine................but we weren't.  Well a little stroll for a mile or so is good for the constitution I suppose.  Eventually after our hike we ended up in the Lego store where Daniel reverted to his younger days and was presented with two lego keyrings, one a stormtrooper and one was Darth Vadar.  He is keeping one for his house key when we move and the other for a car!! That one could take longer....... Sarah had a hedgehog keyring, not sure what she is using it for.

We had a little wander around the Disney store

and then off for our ice cream.....
Shots of the sundae were a little blurry this evening but you get the general idea.  A banana sundae and a chocolate fudge sundae and a caramel fudge sundae was consumed........ and very yummy too.

A few more photo opportunities and a wander around in the soap shop and back home for bed time.
