Lots of Hollywood Magic

We set off this morning for a visit to Hollywood Studios. I was under strict instructions to head into the park and walk and keep walking until I reached Toy Story Mania.  Fast pass tickets were needed as this ride is notoriously difficult to beat the queues on.  Arriving there at 9 am the fast pass time on the tickets was 1.10 to 2.10 but I had them in my grubby little paws! 

 Now you may wonder where the rest of the party went....... 

  Well someone had to get the fast pass tickets didn't they?  They were welcome to Tower of Terror, I don't like drops...... but they enjoyed it, even Daniel who went on it this time.

They were going on the roller coaster but the wait time for that was over 50 mins already so we headed to old faithful and went off on a trip with CP30 and R2D2 on Star Tours.  We all like this one and hopefully each time we go it we get a different combination of story lines.  This was virtually a walk on.  

Once that was finished we stopped off in Writers Stop for a drink and a snack, some muffins were purchased along with a cinnamon bun, very yummy.

We needed to find another ride that wasn't lengthy in wait time so off we went on the Great Movie ride.  Very sedate ride with a little bit of action but enjoyable all the same.

Now the one place we always head when we need to cool off is the shops.  Great for just getting from place to place and cooling down.  In fact you can walk an entire street sometimes going from one shop to another and Daniel managed to model one of the latest fashions in head gear.  Very fetching.  Soon enough it was time enough for our ride on toy Story Mania, we all love this one, totally senseless and a little bit of competition as to who can get the highest score.

Our last stop before going home, it was getting hotter by the minute and our pool was calling.  We went and were taught how to draw Donald Duck.  Martin chickened out and went for a wander and I was wondering how I would do here as art is not one of my skills.  Give me a camera anytime but a pencil............hmmm.  However I was quite pleased with my finished result.

We were all pleased with our effotts and all said we would like to do this again.
After all that exertion we decided that it was time for a shopping trip to Publix for our fried chicken and salad and then a plunge in the bathtub, no I meant pool.
