Sarah had us leaving the house really early so we could check into the hotel Royal-Pacific-Resort. We were there by 7.40, checked in and on our way to the park in no time at all.
Well we decided to make use of our fast passes for a visit to Universal Studios. We were there by 8.40 and virtually walked on to some of our favourites - The Simpsons ( still hate the roller coaster part), Men in Black ( still shot the good aliens though), and then we did some of the newer rides such as Transformers and Despicable me, what long queues for those without the fast passes (105 minutes at one point). I seem to have been jolted around for much of today in simulator rides. It was fun though and an enjoyable time was had. I really enjoyed the visit to Ben and Jerry's for our ice cream break, well when it is 95 you need to cool down sometimes and nothing is better than a refreshing ice cream.
I think I liked the trip back to the hotel on the boat as well, well saved walking too far in that heat!
We decided that we would come back to the villa for a while, shower, change and do a bit of shopping. We seem to spend some part of our day visiting Publix and today was the day we chose to go to relieve Sarah of her itchy foot problem. Not sure what is causing it but she is suffering from something like prickly heat but only on her feet. However Publix to the rescue and their anti allergy cream comes in handy.
Well on our return to the villa we just had to pop into the pool for a swim, not that it was that cooling but it is very relaxing and a time just to chill and chat with each other. Martin however chilled inside on the sofa in a horizontal position watching television. Some of the adverts here are really weird!
We decided to return to the park for the evening but hey ho we had a slight problem with the weather, thunder, lightening and torrential rain and managed one ride on Spiderman before returning home again to relax and munch. We were all in bed by about 10pm in readiness for our next early morning, leaving the villa at 7am for our entry into the Wizarding world of Harry Potter and other rides. I have promised that I will go on Jurassic Park but not sure about the 85 foot drop!!
